NATIONAL GEOGRAPHY BEE
The St. Mary schoolwide competition consists of a mutlitple choice written test for Grades 4-8, covering seven categories including countries, states, capitals, physical characteristics, population and geography trivia questions. The top ten St. Mary Students advance to a local school competition, where the top winner is determined. This student then represents St. Mary School at a Regional Geography Bee where the winner advances to the State level contest, and possibly to the National Geography Bee.
