Teacher Bio: Hello, my name is Mrs. Ofelia Torres, and I am honored to begin my fifth year as part of the St. Mary’s School community. I have been an educator for over 20 years, including 14 years teaching with the Sisters of the Company of Mary and 9 years working as a personal nanny and tutor. In 2020, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University.

During my student teaching at St. Mary’s, I was deeply inspired by the school’s welcoming environment and strong sense of community. I knew I wanted to remain here, and I am grateful to Ms. Rios for giving me that opportunity.

Outside of teaching, I am 50 years old, married, and blessed with three wonderful children and one beautiful grandson. My family and I have lived in the Palmdale area for 10 years, and it is finally starting to feel like home. I look forward to continuing to serve our students and families for many years to come.
