Our priority at Saint Mary School is the academic excellence, moral development, and spiritual growth of all students. With this in mind, the school provides a quality curriculum program that is aligned to the:

• Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Math,

• California State Standards,

• Archdiocese of Los Angeles Standards 

Instruction is given in the core areas of Religion, Math, Social Studies, Science, and English Language Arts (includes reading, writing, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary).  Standards utilized can be found on the L.A. Catholic Schools website. In order to educate the whole student, classes in Music, Physical Education, and Art are given weekly.   

Various co-curricular activities such as educational field trips and presentations, the annual Geography Bee and Spelling Bee, the annual Science Fair and Art Fair, musical productions, and prayer services help support student learning and achievement as well.
