eye exam

At St. Mary's, we care about the overall well-being of all our students. We understand that when a student is healthy and feels safe and cared for, they can thrive academically and spiritually. For this reason, we make efforts to provide services such as counseling, vision screening, tutoring, free and reduced lunch, and more. All this is carried out in the Salesian "family spirit," an integral part of our school's philosophy and mission.

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Vision To Learn to provide free vision services to support our students’ academic success. Vision to Learn is a non-profit organization working in communities across the U.S. This wonderful opportunity, available at no cost to all students in Kindergarten through 8th grade, has been made possible through the generosity of the SHEA Family Charities, an organization committed to supporting Catholic education/schools. Vision screenings will take place at the school in December 2025. Students who do not pass the screening will be referred to the Vision to Learn mobile clinic to receive a routine eye exam. If needed, students may also be prescribed glasses. While an optional service, we hope this is beneficial for all our students. We are grateful to Vision to Learn and the Shea Foundation for this partnership.
