Calendar Updates: There will be Mass of the Immaculate Conception on 12/9/2024 at 8:30 am. Students must come dressed in formal uniforms. Picture retakes will take place on 12/9/24 as well. Order forms are available in the front office, or you may place your order online at mylifetouch.com (information and ID were emailed).
Parent-teacher conferences will be held the week of December 2nd. Please sign up for a scheduled time via SignUpGenius (online calendar/sign up software). The links for each teacher's calendar were emailed. This early access ensures you can coordinate conveniently across multiple grades. We encourage you to sign up at your earliest convenience to secure your desired times. Thank you for your continued partnership in your children’s education.
Our Awards Assembly for grades 3rd-8th will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th, at 2:00 PM in the church. Students in grades 3rd-8th are required to come dressed in their formal uniform. We warmly invite parents/guardians to join us for this special occasion as we celebrate the achievements of our students.
On November 1st we celebrate All Saints' Day, a solemn holy day of the Catholic Church. The day is dedicated to the saints of the Church. To observe this special day students attend Mass, learn about different Saints, and can come dressed as a Saint. Our TK and Kinder students look precious dressed as Saints.
Our kindergartners had so much fun at the 2024 Halloween Carnival where they played games, took pictures, and went trick or treating.

We’re excited to celebrate Halloween with our students tomorrow! Here are a few important reminders:
1. Costumes: Students are welcome to wear costumes; however, please ensure there are no weapons, no masks, and no heavy or gory makeup.
2. Lunch: Grades TK3-2nd should have pre-ordered their lunch. Parents of students in Grades 3-8, please remember to send lunch money with your child/children so they can enjoy the Halloween Café. Only cash will be accepted at the Halloween Café. If your child is not purchasing lunch from the Halloween Café, please ensure they bring a packed lunch from home.
3. Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 1:45 PM.
Looking ahead to Friday, November 1st, All Saints Day: Students are welcome to come dressed as a saint to commemorate this special day. We will be attending Mass at 10:00 AM. Dismissal will be at 12:00 PM, with daycare available until 6:00 PM.
This Thursday, October 31st, is the last day to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a membership to the Palmdale Fin and Feather. Each raffle ticket is only $5 and can be purchased at the front office.
TK students are celebrating Red Ribbon week and learning about being safe, making good choices, and living a healthy life.
Join us as we pray the rosary as a school community. Tomorrow, October 25, we will gather in the Church at 1:15 pm. Parents/guardians are invited to attend.
Are you ready to start the Halloween festivities? Families are invited to participate in the PTO sponsored Trunk-or-Treat tomorrow, October 25 from 6-8pm. Parents who signed up to decorate their cars can begin to set up at 4:30pm. We hope to see you soon.
To celebrate Red Ribbon Week, students came to school dressed as their favorite characters. Our Kindergartners rocked it today! We love their school spirit. A big thank you to all our students and staff who participated.
This is a friendly reminder that breakfast and lunch orders are due by tomorrow, Wednesday, October 16th. Please make sure to submit your orders on time, as no late orders will be accepted—no exceptions. Additionally, if you will be dropping off lunch for your child please remember lunch must be dropped off in the office by 11:15 am. No exceptions. Thank you!
This is a friendly reminder that the St. Mary’s School Autumn Festival will take place this Sunday, October 13th. We invite you all to come and join us for a day of fun, food, and community! If you’ve signed up for a volunteer shift this weekend, we look forward to seeing you there. Your help and participation are greatly appreciated in making this event a success. Our annual Autumn Festival is taking place this Sunday, October 13th! As a reminder, each family is required to complete 5 service hours for the event. If you have not yet signed up, please contact the school office to schedule your volunteer hours. Additionally, if you would like to donate items, we are in need of the following: water or sodas, propane tanks, ice chests, and condiments. You may drop off your donations at the school office. For every $10 donated, you will receive 1 service hour. We appreciate your support and help in making this event a success!
Reminders: This Friday, October 4, 2024 there will be noon dismissal. Daycare will be available until 6pm. Please ensure emergency cards have been returned to the office. This is for the safety of all students. Thank you.
Soccer practice has been canceled today (10/1/24) due to excessive temperatures. We will send updates if there are further changes in the practice schedule. Thank you for your understanding.
Reminder: Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1st, we will be implementing our new lunch program. Please take note of the following important changes: 1) All students will be served lunch tomorrow, October 1st, either lasagna or ham & cheese sandwich. 2) The school cafeteria will no longer sell snacks or any other food items moving forward. Please remind your children of this change. We appreciate your cooperation as we transition to this new system.
Reminder: Breakfast and lunch pre-orders and payment for October are due tomorrow, September 18. If you received a letter from the lunch program, your child is receiving free breakfast/lunch OR reduced-price breakfast/lunch. If you did not receive a letter, please pay the full price listed on the school website/email sent. The menus and pre-order forms are on the website and have been emailed. We request that all families pay with exact cash or check, as our credit card machine is temporarily unavailable. As a kick-off to the new program, ALL students will receive free lunch on October 1st!
W.C.E.A Parent/Guardian online survey is due today, September 16. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. The link can be found on the website under the News Section, in Class Dojo, and was emailed to parents last week. For those who complete the survey today, your children can come in free dress on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Wed. Sept. 18, and Thurs. Sept 19. Thank you!
