Reminder: Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 1st, we will be implementing our new lunch program. Please take note of the following important changes: 1) All students will be served lunch tomorrow, October 1st, either lasagna or ham & cheese sandwich. 2) The school cafeteria will no longer sell snacks or any other food items moving forward. Please remind your children of this change. We appreciate your cooperation as we transition to this new system.
Reminder: Breakfast and lunch pre-orders and payment for October are due tomorrow, September 18. If you received a letter from the lunch program, your child is receiving free breakfast/lunch OR reduced-price breakfast/lunch. If you did not receive a letter, please pay the full price listed on the school website/email sent. The menus and pre-order forms are on the website and have been emailed. We request that all families pay with exact cash or check, as our credit card machine is temporarily unavailable. As a kick-off to the new program, ALL students will receive free lunch on October 1st!
W.C.E.A Parent/Guardian online survey is due today, September 16. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey. The link can be found on the website under the News Section, in Class Dojo, and was emailed to parents last week. For those who complete the survey today, your children can come in free dress on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Wed. Sept. 18, and Thurs. Sept 19. Thank you!

We are excited to announce that our school has been awarded tickets to the UCLA I'm Going to College Football Game on Saturday, September 14th at 1:30 PM. This is a special event as it’s part of the "I’m Going to College" program, designed to inspire students about the possibilities of higher education. If you are interested in attending the game with your family, please contact the school office at 661-273-5555 to request tickets. Availability is limited, so be sure to call soon!
Important calendar changes: Our school Mass on Friday, September 13 has been changed to 8:30 am. There will now be noon dismissal on the first Friday of every month. Daycare will be available until 6:00 pm.
Today (9/12) is Back to School Night! To accommodate parents with multiple children, we have arranged three sessions, each lasting 20 minutes. Session 1: 7:00-7:20 pm | Session 2: 7:20-7:40pm; and Session 3: 7:40-8:00pm. See you soon!
We hope you can all join us for the Parish Festival this weekend. A few important reminders: 1) Raffle Tickets - Please remember to return the $50 along with the raffle tickets to the school office as soon as possible. 2) Beverage Booth: Our school will be in charge of the beverage booth. If you'd like to donate water and/or soft drinks, please bring them to the school office at your earliest convenience. 3) As a reminder, every $10 spent on donations will earn 1 service hour.
Our Back-to-School Picnic is happening today, Friday, September 6th from 7pm - 9pm on the school blacktop. Bring your dinner, chairs, or blankets, and come meet new friends or reconnect with familiar faces. We hope you're able to join us for a fun and relaxing evening with our school community.

There are lots of activities this week such as the welcome breakfast, new family orientation, mandatory general PTO meeting, grandparents Mass and reception, and the Parish Festival. A huge thank you to Dr. Ray from Ray Orthodontics for his donation to St. Mary School. This donation will help us purchase emergency supplies to keep students safe. We appreciate the support of wonderful community members like Dr. Ray.
